Robert Groat

Robert Groat is an accomplished technology executive currently serving as Executive Vice President of Technology and Strategy at SMX since March 2004, where Robert oversees the company's technical and strategic direction. Prior to this role, Robert held the position of Chief Technology Officer and was the Chief Products and Technology Officer at netDecide, Inc from September 1996 to February 2004. Robert began their career as an Associate Software Architect at Booz Allen Hamilton from June 1992 to July 1996. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University, completed in 1991, and has furthered education at Mindshare in 2008.
