Michael Elfstrom

Michael Elfstrom, P.Eng., is currently the Senior Manager of Project Engineering (OOSV) at Seaspan ULC. They possess a practical understanding of machinery, honed through previous roles in yacht service and construction, and have a strong grasp of fundamental engineering principles. Michael's experience includes positions as a Fabricator at Crescent Custom Yachts, an Inboard Outboard Mechanic at Crescent Beach Marina, and a Mechanical Engineer in Training at Integral Group, Inc. They earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia and have served as Chair of the SNAME Canadian Pacific Section since 2025.
