Chris Ahern

Chris Ahern is a seasoned professional in the technology and cybersecurity sectors, currently serving as a Partner and Principal at Strategic Cyber Ventures since October 2017. Ahern has held various board positions, including Board Member at HackNotice and ID DataWeb, and Board Observer at SnapAttack®, Evo Security, Polarity, Cloudburst Technologies, and previously at TrapX Security and E8 Security, the latter two having been acquired by Commvault and VMware, respectively. Ahern's earlier experience includes a tenure as a Venture Fellow at Lavrock Ventures, focusing on Post-Seed and Series A investments in B2B software and early-stage technology companies. Ahern's educational background includes an MBA from Georgetown University, an MS in Accounting from the University of Virginia, and a BS in Finance & International Business from the same institution.
