Wesley Lynch

Wesley Lynch has a diverse work experience in various fields. Wesley is currently the CEO of Snapplify, a leading edtech company in Africa that focuses on digital learning solutions. Wesley has been with Snapplify since 2011 and has played a key role in its growth and expansion into new markets.

Prior to their role at Snapplify, Lynch was the Founder and CEO of Realmdigital, a digital solutions company, where they served for 12 years. Wesley then transitioned to the position of Chairman of the Board at Realmdigital after stepping down as CEO.

Lynch has also been involved in various non-profit organizations. Wesley served as a Board Member at the Cape Digital Foundation from 2015 to 2019, working towards digital literacy and development in the Western Cape. Wesley was also a Board Member at Sure Travel (Pty) Ltd, one of the largest independent travel agency brands in Southern Africa.

Additionally, Lynch co-founded AngelHub, an early-stage technology venture capital firm, where they managed deal flow and investment decisions. Wesley also worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Knife Capital, a growth equity fund manager and advisor focusing on innovative ventures in Africa.

Earlier in their career, Lynch worked as a Software Designer at the Charities Aid Foundation, where they designed systems architecture for CRM and donations management. Wesley also served as a Software Architect at STT (Software Training Technology) where they developed simulation training products.

Wesley Lynch attended the University of Cape Town in 1996, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry. After completing their studies at the University of Cape Town, they then enrolled at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology from 1997 to 2000, focusing on Chemistry.
