Matt Schiller

Matt Schiller is the Founder and CEO of Snappr Inc., a leading platform for visual content creation, encompassing the largest marketplace for on-demand photography and photo editing since March 2017. In addition, Schiller serves as a Senior Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, a $70 million seed fund that supports new Y Combinator companies with a focus on marketplaces, developer tools, and generative imaging. Previously, Schiller co-founded and led GownTown Pty Ltd, Australia's largest online university graduation retailer, from December 2012 until its acquisition in 2022. Early career experience includes strategic consulting at McKinsey & Company, academic roles at the University of New South Wales, and research in neurosurgery. Schiller's educational background includes degrees in Medicine (MBBS) and Philosophy (BA) from UNSW, a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching from Curtin University, and participation in the Y Combinator Winter 2017 Program.
