Michael Throop

Michael Throop, P.E. possesses extensive experience in risk engineering and property loss control, having worked for various prominent companies in the industry. Currently serving as a part-time employee at SnapRISK since October 2023, Michael previously held the position of Senior Risk Engineering Consultant at Zurich North America from July 2021 to April 2023. Prior to that, roles included Senior Consultant at Global Risk Consultants, where responsibilities involved account engineering and field servicing for property risk control, and Senior Consultant at Aon Risk Solutions, focused on property risk control for major automotive suppliers. Michael also served as President of Throop Loss Control Consulting, LLC for a brief period, and held significant positions in fire protection consulting with G4S Secure Solutions and Securitas.
