Verena Kallhoff, Ph.D., MBA, currently serves as Sr. Director of Global Life Sciences at Greater Houston Partnership, focusing on promoting the Greater Houston region as a prime location for life sciences. With a strong background in leadership roles and strategic development, Verena has contributed to organizations like Material Change Institute as a Fellow, Equideum Health as Vice President, and the University of Texas at Austin in various capacities, including Managing Director of the Machine Learning Lab. Verena's extensive experience includes co-founding the Texas Global Health Security Innovation Consortium and developing innovative health ecosystems, such as the WorkSpaces at Texas Health CoLab. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Molecular and Human Genetics from Baylor College of Medicine and an MBA from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
