Dave Blakey

Dave Blakey is the Co-Founder and CEO of Snapt, a software company that provides load balancing and ADC solutions. Dave has over 15 years of experience in the tech industry, and has held leadership positions at Opteq International and Kinetiq Web Movement.

At Opteq, Dave was the CTO and led product development and design. Dave grew the product from the ground up to over $10m in revenue and 500+ clients including leading Telco, Banking and Carriers in 8 countries. Dave also grew the development team from 1 to 10, managed IP, and product vision.

At Kinetiq, Dave was a partner and led the software development side of the business. Dave helped grow several large forum brands.

In 2010, Dave co-founded Snapt with the goal of providing load balancing and ADC solutions that are easy to use and offer great value for money. Under Dave's leadership, Snapt has grown rapidly and now serves customers in over 40 countries.

Dave Blakey has a matric in English, Computer Science, Mathematics, Dave'story, Geography, and Afrikaans from Crawford College. Dave has an MCSE in Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer from a private school. Dave has an A+ in Networking and Computing from a private school. Dave is certified by Microsoft in MCSE and by CompTIA in A+.
