Matthew Erwin has a long and varied work experience. Matthew began their career in 2000 as a Senior Software Developer at Hypercom, Inc., where they developed e-commerce applications for various major products. Matthew was later promoted to Manager of Enterprise Applications, where they were responsible for building out a development team dedicated to enterprise applications. In 2006, they became the Manager of Software Development at SearchIgnite, where they provided engineering resources to multiple teams within the organization. In 2007, they founded Snaptech, which offers clients a wealth of technology expertise, infrastructure advisory skills, and enterprise-grade guidance. That same year, they also provided financial services expertise to Priority Payment Systems. In 2009, they became the Startup CTO at BLiNQ Media, where they created multi-year technology software & hardware guidance and cost/personnel projections for BLiNQ Media's launch into the social media space. In 2018, they became an Investor and Co-Founder of Femcoder, and an Investor and Board Member of Symmr. In 2019, they became an Investor of NOMADX. Finally, in 2020, they became a MMF Fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
Matthew Erwin began their educational journey in 2001 at the Georgia Institute of Technology, studying Computer Engineering. In 2003, they completed a Leadership Training For Managers program at Dale Carnegie Training. Matthew then resumed their studies in 2010 at Georgia State University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science - Theoretical Analysis and a B.S. in Mathematics with a focus on Graph Theory & Numerical Analysis. In 2013, they completed an Online Advertising Professional program at Google, with an Adwords Certification.
