Celine Besset

Celine Besset has extensive experience in research and development within the chemical and materials science sectors. Currently serving as the Head of R&D for Drilling Fluids and Stimulation as well as the Head of the R&D Department for Home & Personal Care at SNF since April 2017, Celine Besset previously worked at Scott Bader Co. Ltd from September 2011 to March 2017 as a Senior Polymer Chemist, where responsibilities included the development of acrylic polymer emulsions and providing technical support. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Associate at Texas A&M University, focusing on bio-materials for orthopedic applications, and positions at Roquette and SEPPIC/CNRS/INSA, where Celine Besset conducted research on bio-sourced monomers and surfactant development. Academically, Celine Besset holds a doctorate in Chemistry from INSA Lyon and degrees in chemical engineering and technology from ENSI Caen and IUT A Villeurbanne.
