Karel Vits is a seasoned professional in the chemical engineering industry with extensive experience in project management and process engineering. Currently serving as Construction Project Manager at SNF, Karel previously owned K&D Technology Development, overseeing the engineering and commissioning of a grassroots acrylate monomers plant in China. With a solid background at Solvay as a Process Simulation and Modeling Expert, Karel contributed significantly to reducing NOx emissions and managing a team of chemical engineers in technology development across the Asia-Pacific region. Karel's career includes roles at Cytec Surface Specialties, where achievements in productivity and production capacity were notable, as well as significant managerial positions in production at UCB Chemicals. Karel holds multiple Master’s degrees in Polymer and Composites Engineering, Industrial/Operations Management, and Chemical and Agricultural Engineering from prestigious institutions.
