Remi Valero is an experienced professional in the chemical and materials industry, currently serving as Vice-President of Mining and Strategy Director at SNF since February 2021, where coordination of global mining activities takes priority. Prior to this, Remi held multiple leadership roles at Imerys, including Process Development & Innovation Director and Global Process Development Director, focusing on the development of new materials and innovative processes. Experience also includes serving as Core Process Development Manager at Kerneos, Project Manager at Bluestar Silicones, and Binder Process Team Leader at Saint-Gobain ISOVER A/S, among other positions. Remi began a career at Rhodia Silices as Pilot Plant Manager and as Characterisation Engineer at Pixtech. Educational credentials include a Doctorate in Materials Science from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Mulhouse and an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Superieure de Chimie de Clermont Ferrand.
