Lee Brown

Lee Brown has worked in various roles since 2006. Lee began their career as a Staff Writer/Business Editor at the Daily Press in 2006. In 2007, they became a Mentoring Coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Marquette and Alger Counties. In 2009, Brown began working as a Teacher at Big Bay de Noc School, teaching English Language Arts courses to 8-12 grade students, coaching National Novel Writing Month and High School Bowl, and participating in drama club presentations. From 2012 to 2022, Brown worked at Superior Oasis in various roles, including Director of Sales and Marketing, General Manager of My Place Hotel, and General Manager of Perkins Restaurant & Bakery. Currently, Brown is a Project Manager at HelloGM.

Lee Brown obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Secondary Education from Michigan Technological University in 2003. Lee also holds a ServSafe Instructor/Proctor certification from the National Restaurant Association.
