Tra Bui

Tra Bui is a skilled software engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, obtained in May 2025. Professional experience includes a full-time position as a Junior Software Engineer at Snoonu from April to September 2025 and a Software Engineer Internship at PanData Tech LLC in May 2025. Prior roles feature a Language Bridge Instructor, where weekly sessions were conducted to enhance community workers' English communication skills, and Club Manager of OpenCMUQ Collectives, focused on promoting sustainable open-source projects. Tra contributed to notable open-source initiatives, including OpenStack Swift and Adoptium, during internships with OpenStack and the Eclipse Foundation, respectively, both in the summer of 2024.
