Da An

Da An is a senior software engineer with extensive experience in AI and machine learning technologies. Currently at Snowflake since April 2024, Da An works on the AI/ML platform. Previously, Da An served as a Senior Software Engineer II at Cruise, focusing on machine learning infrastructure, and held various engineering positions at Amazon, including Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer II, contributing to Kindle Search. Early career experiences include roles as a software engineer intern at Audi China and Aubot, and research assistant positions at the University of Melbourne and The Australian National University, where significant advancements in algorithm performance were achieved. Da An holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Melbourne, supplemented by an exchange program at UCL.
