Defa Sun has extensive experience in software engineering, holding senior positions at several prominent technology companies. Defa Sun began a career at VMware as a Sr MTS from October 2011 to March 2014, before advancing to a Senior Software Engineer role at Facebook from March 2014 to March 2018. Following that, Defa Sun worked at Uber as a Senior Software Engineer from March 2018 to May 2022 and is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Snowflake since May 2022. Educationally, Defa Sun earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Shandong University and later obtained two Master's degrees in Computer Science, one from Shandong University and another from Virginia Tech.
