Edward

Edward Ma is a Senior Software Engineer at Snowflake Computing since November 2016. Previously, Edward worked as a Software Engineer at HPE Vertica from December 2014 to September 2016, where significant contributions included the development of the Apache Spark connector for optimized data loading. As Co-Founder and Infrastructure Developer at PicTTT, Edward designed a mobile Android interface and backend database. Edward's academic background includes a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California. Edward also served as a PhD student and Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon, focusing on communication tracking in parallel applications. Early career experience includes a software engineering internship at Lorentz Solution, Inc.
