Evan Gilbert is a seasoned UI professional currently working at Snowflake as a UI Dude since August 2023. Prior to this role, Evan spent several months building open-source developer tools and applications after leaving a position at Building Stuff. From September 2019 to February 2023, Evan contributed to the New Product Experimentation group at Meta, assisting entrepreneurial teams in product development. A long tenure at Google spanned from February 2006 to September 2019, where Evan initiated projects and led teams to enhance Google-wide infrastructure and user-facing features. Earlier experience includes working with eBay on technical architecture, independent consulting for Ask Jeeves, and serving as CTO and VP of Engineering at Axcellis, among other roles. Evan co-founded Wildcat Canyon Software, which developed award-winning software, and holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Yale University.
