George Kanabe

George Kanabe is currently serving as the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Product and Intellectual Property at Snowflake, a company focused on data mobilization through its Data Cloud. With extensive experience in intellectual property law, George holds positions on the Executive Committee and serves as Secretary for the Association of Corporate Patent Counsel while also being a Charter Member of TechGC, a peer community for legal professionals. Prior to joining Snowflake, George was the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at McAfee, leading various legal functions related to product, brand, and public policy. George's legal career includes roles as a Partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, Special Counsel at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP, and Associate at Fish & Richardson P.C., among others. George earned a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers School of Engineering.
