Himabindu Pucha

Himabindu Pucha is currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Snowflake since August 2023. Prior to this role, significant experience includes positions as a Software Engineer at nxyz from April 2022 to August 2023, and at Neeva from April 2019 to April 2022. Earlier in the career, Himabindu worked at Google as a Software Engineer from October 2013 to April 2019 and held the title of Software Architect at Violin Memory from April 2012 to October 2013. Additional experience includes serving as a Research Staff Member at IBM Research Almaden from September 2008 to April 2012 and a Post doc at Carnegie Mellon University from 2007 to September 2008. Internships at Intel Research Pittsburgh occurred in 2006 and 2007. Himabindu earned a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering and a Master's in Computer Engineering from Purdue University between 2002 and 2007, and a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai from 1997 to 2001.
