Kelvin Chan

Kelvin Chan is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and infrastructure roles. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Snowflake since January 2023, Kelvin previously held the position of Vice President of Infrastructure at Pony.ai from March 2020 to January 2023. Prior to that, Kelvin spent nearly 14 years at Google Inc. as a Senior Staff Software Engineer. Early career experiences include software engineering internships at Amazon.com, contributing to distributed systems and routing algorithms, and an internship at Xandros Corporation. Kelvin holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an ARCT Performers degree in Piano from the Royal Conservatory of Music.
