Lin Chan is an Engineering Manager at Snowflake, where they focus on metadata frameworks and backup systems. Previously, Lin worked as a Senior Software Engineer and contributed to cloud VM provisioning, as well as held roles at Microsoft, developing core functionalities in MS SQL Server and Spark on Azure HDInsight. Lin earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University. Outside of their professional endeavors, Lin prioritizes family and volunteering at church.
