Michael Desiderio

Michael Desiderio is a seasoned sales executive with extensive experience in the technology sector, particularly in financial services and big data. Currently serving as Senior District Manager at Snowflake since February 2019, Michael also holds the role of Regional Vice President of Sales for Major Accounts in the Central US. Prior to Snowflake, Michael worked at Hortonworks as Regional Vice President of Sales, where leadership spanned three regions and a sizeable sales team. Michael's career includes significant roles at Oracle, where exemplified leadership involved directing the Big Data Discovery & Analytics Team for North America, and at IBM, where managed sales for Business Analytics software. Michael began a career in sales at Parametric Technology Corporation, overseeing teams across multiple states. Educational qualifications include a degree in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Business Administration from Marquette University and a high school diploma from McQuaid Jesuit.
