Shane Diven

Shane Diven is a seasoned technical writer with extensive experience in creating and managing documentation across various companies and industries. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Writer at Snowflake, Shane is responsible for launching an internal documentation program and ensuring clarity for developers. Prior to this role, Shane held several positions at Splunk, where responsibilities included implementing documentation strategies for a new observability platform and managing documentation for Infrastructure and Automation teams. Shane’s earlier experience includes contributions to cybersecurity initiatives at Milestone Technologies, teaching composition at San Jose State University, and developing marketing collateral in the gaming industry. Shane holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from San Jose State University.
