Simon Field has extensive experience in technical leadership and analytics, currently serving as the Snowcat Technical Director - EMEA and Field CTO at Snowflake since November 2018. Prior roles include Advanced Analytics and Big Data Architect at Microsoft from April 2015 to October 2018, and Technical Services Director at Revolution Analytics from April 2013 to April 2015. Field has also held positions such as CTO Big Data EMEA at IBM and EMEA Technical Director at Netezza (an IBM Company). Earlier in the career, Simon was the Lead Data Warehouse Architect at HP and worked as a Senior Data Warehouse Architect with DB2 development at IBM Toronto Lab. The career began as a Data Warehouse Architect at NCR. Simon Field holds a BSc Hons in Computer Studies from the University of Brighton.
