Vivek Alamuri

Vivek Alamuri is a Computer Engineering Honours graduate from the University of Waterloo, with a diverse background in software engineering and machine learning. Currently serving as a Software Engineer Intern at Snowflake's AI Inference team and as the Founder of Notes2Anki, Vivek has previously interned at Pinecone, focusing on ML inference and model optimization, and worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Lawbrokr, where responsibilities included developing NLP solutions for lead recapture workflows. Additionally, experience as a Machine Learning Researcher involved working with large language models (LLMs) for FPGA programming and presenting findings to the AMD FPGA Research Group. Prior research contributions were made in distributed systems, specifically regarding the EPaxos protocol.
