Robert Waugh

Robert Waugh has extensive experience in leadership roles within the financial sector, currently serving as a Member of the Board at Snug.com since September 2017. Recently appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Ubiquity and Chief Technology Officer at CloudTech Group, both for a term ending in January 2025, Waugh previously held the position of Head of Wealth & Retirement Product at National Australia Bank from July 2013 to November 2023, where Waugh managed a diverse team and developed retirement products for the Australian market. Earlier roles include Managing Director at Standard Chartered Bank and Head of Financial Institutions Solutions & Advisory APAC at ABN AMRO Asia, along with academic research positions at the University of Glasgow and the Royal Military College of Science. Waugh holds a PhD in Particle Physics from the University of Glasgow, an MSc from The University of Manchester, and a BSc from The University of Sheffield.
