David Makongo is an experienced professional in the agricultural investment sector, currently serving as the Focal Point for the AgrInvest Food Systems Project at FAO since July 2020. This project aims to foster agricultural investments that align with the Sustainable Development Goals, contributing to economic growth and improving livelihoods. Concurrently, David has held several advisory roles at SNV since September 2016, including as an Advisor for the Inclusive Business - Climate Smart Agribusiness Investment Project and as an Agribusiness Advisor for the Smart Water for Agriculture Project.
