Justin Miteng

Justin Miteng is an experienced development professional with a strong background in food security and agricultural development, particularly in South Sudan. Currently serving as Country Director at the International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC), Justin oversees programs that enhance seed systems and support smallholder farmers. Previous roles include Project Officer at The Lutheran World Federation, Economic Development Advisor and various positions at SNV Netherlands Development Organisation, where significant contributions were made to local market access, business development, and project management. Justin has also led initiatives for organizations such as AGRA and IFAD, focusing on seed sector development and resilience programs, while holding academic qualifications including a Master's Degree in International Development from Bangor University and a Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology from Makerere University.
