Maria Overeem

Maria Overeem is a seasoned expert in vocational education and training, currently serving as an African Continental Qualifications Framework Consultant at JET Education Services since October 2019, and as a Youth Employment Advisor for SNV, focusing on opportunities for youth employment projects in West Africa. Overeem has extensive experience as an independent consultant since 2004, and previously held positions including Team Leader for the Promotion of Vocational Education and Training (ProVET) at Itegration Management Consultants GmbH, Consultant for Save the Children, and Manager of Inclusive TVET at Handicap International. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education from the University of Botswana, with a focus on curriculum development and education management, and studies at the University of Amsterdam.
