Andy Hume

Andy Hume has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Andy is currently working at Snyk as a Senior Engineering Manager, Cloud Platforms. Prior to that, they worked at Brandwatch for five years in various roles, including Director of Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, and Principal Engineer, Engineering Effectiveness. Before Brandwatch, Andy was a Senior Software Engineer at Twitter and a Software Architect at Guardian News & Media. Andy also worked at Clearleft as a Senior Development Consultant and at Microsoft as an Engineering Manager and Software Engineer. In addition to their tech career, Andy had a freelance career as a Trumpet Player, performing with various orchestras and artists.

Andy Hume attended Guildhall School of Music and Drama from 1998 to 2002. Andy obtained a Bachelor of Music degree with a specialization in Music.
