Chris O'Connell

Chris O'Connell has extensive work experience in the legal field. They are currently working as a Legal Consultant at Bronson Orrin since October 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at DataRobot starting in March 2021, including Vice President, Legal - Global Transactions and Head of Global Transactions. From August 2019 to March 2021, Chris worked at AppDynamics as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. They also held the position of Associate General Counsel from February 2017 to August 2019, Director of Legal, International Transactions and Privacy from March 2016 to February 2017, and Senior Corporate Counsel from January 2015 to March 2016. Earlier in their career, Chris worked as a Senior Associate at Burges Salmon LLP from September 2008 to December 2014. They also had secondment roles at Virgin from January 2012 to April 2012 and Force Protection from September 2010 to December 2010. Chris started their career as a Trainee Solicitor at Wragge & Co from September 2006 to September 2008.

Chris O'Connell attended Durham University from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a 2:1 degree in Law. Chris then attended the College of Law Birmingham from 2005 to 2006, earning a distinction in the Legal Practice Course (LPC). In 2010, Chris briefly attended the University of Oxford to study Intellectual Property Law, although no degree name was provided for this period.
