Clinton Herget

Clinton Herget has extensive work experience in the field of technology and engineering. From 2002 to 2005, they worked as a Web Developer at the College of William & Mary. Clinton then joined Wired For Change as a Senior Developer from 2005 to 2007. In 2005, they also founded BuzzMaker LLC, where they served as the Chief Technologist until 2014. At BuzzMaker, they were responsible for full-stack development and technical management. In 2010, they joined OPOWER as a Consumer Marketing Engineer. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at Insight Systems as a Web Portfolio Manager, leading a team in re-engineering multiple CMS/web applications. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at Mobomo as a Technical Director, serving federal agency clients and specializing in cloud solutions and DevOps. Currently, they are employed at Snyk as a Principal Solutions Engineer and Field CTO, responsible for building executive-level technical relationships and delivering strategic vision for Developer Security. Clinton is also engaged in public speaking and education.

Clinton Herget attended William & Mary from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications in Amazon Web Services. In 2016, they became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate. Clinton further expanded their knowledge by obtaining an AWS Certified SysOps Engineer - Associate certification in 2017. Finally, in the same year, they achieved the highest level of certification with the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional.
