David Powell has work experience in the field of customer technical support. David currently works for Snyk since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Veracode starting in 2017. At Veracode, they held two roles, namely Security Scan Specialist and Associate Security Scan Specialist. In these roles, they verified security flaws found by the dynamic scanner, published scan results for customers, assisted customers with technical issues via JIRA, and trained new employees on the product and tools used for support.

David Powell earned an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science from Bunker Hill Community College from 2013 to 2017. In 2016, they also completed the Web Development Immersive Program at General Assembly, further expanding their knowledge and skills in the field of Computer Science.
