Steven Schmidt

Steven Schmidt currently serves as the Field CTO at Snyk, a role held since November 2019, where Steven focuses on developer-first security solutions for open source environments. Prior to Snyk, Steven held various positions at Skycure (acquired by Symantec), excelling as a Senior Sales Engineer specializing in mobile security, and has extensive experience with secure systems as a Senior Enterprise Security Architect at Akamai Technologies. Steven's earlier career includes roles at IBM as a Global Sales Engineer, and as a Security Engineer at National City. Steven also co-founded ChiCity Events and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.
