Drew Smith

Drew Smith is an experienced GIS professional currently serving as a Principal GIS Analyst at SO4 since March 2024. Previously, Drew held the position of Manager Spatial Services at BCI Minerals from May 2021 to March 2024, and served as GIS and Data Manager at Tellus Holdings Ltd from August 2019 to March 2021. Prior roles include Contract GIS Specialist at Atlas Iron Pty Ltd and Senior GIS Specialist at CITIC Pacific Mining, along with a brief stint as a Senior GIS Specialist at Arup. Drew's career began as GIS Lead at Atlas Iron Limited, providing geospatial support for multiple mines, and further experience was gained as Senior Consultant at Coffey Environments. Drew holds a Bachelor of Science in Geomatics with Honours from RMIT University, completed in 2005.
