John Walker has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple industries. John started their career as a Sales Representative at Honeywell, Inc in 1978. John then worked as a Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble from 1981 to 1985. After that, they joined Murray Ohio Manufacturing Company as the Vice President of Bicycle Products from 1985 to 1988. From 1989 to 1998, John served as the Executive Vice President at Crestar Bank Trust & Investment Management Group, where they achieved significant profit growth and improved profit margins. Following this, they worked at AMF Bowling Products, Inc., initially as Vice President, then as Senior Vice President Global Sales & Marketing, and finally as President & COO. During their tenure, they successfully grew revenues and profitability. In 2005, John became the President & CEO of QubicaAMF, a joint venture between Qubica, an Italian owned technology company, and CHS Capital, a U.S. private equity firm. After leaving QubicaAMF, they became the President & CEO of The Greater Richmond ARC, where they currently hold the position.
John Walker completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) Commerce degree in Marketing at the University of Virginia from 1974 to 1978. John then pursued higher education at the University of Virginia The Darden School of Business, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from 1979 to 1981.
