As college admissions become more and more competitive, and college-bound families face exorbitant tuition costs ($30k-$75k per year), many parents and students are turning to college consultants to assist them with the complex process of paying, researching and applying to colleges. As more and more consultants assist families, the competition for admission becomes even more fierce. With over 3 million students applying to college, and the number of families using an independent consultant increasing, it is more important than ever that families understand the application process and the strategies that reduce the out-of-pocket cost.

At SOAR, founded in 2010, we understand the importance of educating students and families about the college admissions and financial aid process! We are on a mission to help families choose the best-fit college at the most affordable cost. We guide students through the application process and we guide parents through a process we call College Pre Approval which is a step by step process designed to help families make informed college buying decisions.
