Amanda Bond

Amanda Bond has extensive experience in the field of human factors engineering and research. Amanda has held various roles in different companies throughout their career.

Amanda started their career at CHI Systems, Inc in 2003 as a Human Systems Engineer. During their time there, they supported several cognitive task analyses and began working on the Tactical Ground Reporting (TIGR) program. Amanda continued their work on the TIGR program when they joined Ascend Intelligence, LLC in 2009 as a Human Factors Manager.

In 2009, Amanda also joined General Dynamics C4 Systems as a Senior Human Sciences Designer and Lead Human Sciences Designer for the TIGR program. Amanda'sresponsibilities included ensuring the overall user experience of the TIGR program and representing the user's interests in all aspects of production.

In 2012, Amanda joined Design Interactive, Inc as a Senior Research Associate. Amanda contributed to the company's serious adaptive solutions and deep diagnostics for human performance optimization.

From 2014 to 2016, Amanda worked at Cubic as a Lead/Principal Human Performance Engineer.

In 2016, Amanda joined Soar Technology, Inc as a Research Scientist. Amanda later progressed to the role of Lead Scientist and then Senior Scientist.

In 2019, Amanda started working at Serious Games Showcase & Challenge (SGS&C) as an IPT Member. Amanda proceeded to take on the roles of 2021 Deputy Chair and 2022 Chair.

Amanda Bond earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University from 1999 to 2002, majoring in Psychology and minoring in French Language. Amanda subsequently attended the University of Central Florida, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Modeling and Simulation - Human Systems from 2003 to 2008. Amanda further pursued higher education at the University of Central Florida, completing their PhD in Modeling & Simulation - Human Systems from 2018 to 2022.
