Joel Sieh

Joel Sieh has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Joel began their career as a Software Engineer at Digital Active in 1997 and later moved to Control Room Technologies in 1998. During their time at Control Room Technologies, they worked as a Software Engineer until 2000. In 2003, Joel joined Raytheon as a Sr. Software Engineer II, where they designed and developed battle-space simulation software for the DDG 1000 destroyer class ship's operating software. Joel also contributed to creating the operating software for the DDG 1000. In 2008, they joined SRI International as a Senior Software Engineer and worked there until 2018. Most recently, Joel is employed at Soar Technology, Inc. as a Software Engineer since 2018.

Joel Sieh obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Michigan State University, which they completed between 1996 and 2000. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Their studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst took place between 2000 and 2003.
