Julia Appave

Julia Appave, SCMP, has over a decade of experience in supply chain and category management, currently serving as the National Wholesale Assistant Category Manager at Sobeys since December 2013. In this role, Julia is responsible for troubleshooting retail margin issues, generating critical reports for decision-making, and managing costs and margins in the processed meat category. Prior to Sobeys, Julia held positions at Loblaw Companies Limited as a Vendor Audit Analyst and at Weston Foods (Canada) Inc. as a Plant Administrator, where responsibilities included auditing vendor shipments and managing payroll and inventory. Julia's educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce in Operations Management from the University of Calgary and a Supply Chain Management Professional Candidate designation from the Supply Chain Management Association.
