Matt Ober

Matt Ober is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as a General Partner at Social Leverage since February 2022. Prior to this role, Matt held the position of Chief Data Scientist at Third Point LLC from January 2017 to February 2022. Additionally, Matt co-led data strategy at WorldQuant LLC and served as a Data Strategist from June 2011 to December 2016. Earlier in Matt's career, a role as an Equity & Derivatives Analyst at Bloomberg spanned from July 2007 to June 2011. Matt holds a degree in Business, Finance from California State University, Chico, and has furthered education in Finance at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, alongside attending Tecnológico de Monterrey and De La Salle Highschool.
