Ivan Colom

Ivan Colom has a decade of experience in video production, editing, and visual storytelling. In 2015, they began working as an Influencer & Social Media Specialist for Social Native, collaborating with major corporations to create promotional advertisements for social media platforms and successfully growing audiences, engagement, extending branding, and launching initiatives. In 2016, Ivan worked as a Sales Associate for G.H. Bass & Co. Outlet and Brooks Brothers, providing high-quality service through quick problem solving and negotiating and tailoring clients for the best deal. In 2017, Ivan worked as a Volleyball Athletic Manager at St. John's University, supervising practice to ensure a positive and successful training environment, organizing sports equipment, and cataloging performance statistics of all 14 players. In 2018, Ivan worked as a Restaurant Waiter at IHOP, handling high workloads in fast-paced environments while maintaining a calm and personable demeanor with guests. In 2019, Ivan worked as a Digital and Video Social Intern for Pfizer, filming important events and activities, photographing special events, and creating, filming, and editing a video of the new social campaign. In 2020, Ivan returned to St. John's University as Vice President of the Film Society, collaborating with board members and senior executives to revitalize the club, supervising facility operations and equipment rental service, and expanding members from 5 to 30.
