Franklin Murillo

Global Insights & Partnerships Director at Social Progress Imperative

Franklin Murillo is the Global Insights and Partnerships Director at Social Progress Imperative where he facilitates collaboration with regional teams and local networks that translate Social Progress Index data into policy-oriented actions across the world. Previously, he was General Manager of Fundación Gente, a non-profit Costa Rican organization that seeks to strengthen the national education system through public-private partnerships. He also founded Miguía, a social enterprise that provides support to more than 40,000 mothers in Latin America.

Franklin holds a BA in Education from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, an MBA and an MA in Project Management from Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología and a Master of Education and International Development from University College London (UCL). He is also recognized as a One Young World Ambassador, a Young Challenger by Grameen Creative Lab, and a Global Thinker.
