Stuart Gauffreau

Stuart Gauffreau is an accomplished Administrative Law Judge with the Social Security Administration, having served in this role since 2014 and currently holding the position of Chief Administrative Law Judge at the Philadelphia East Hearing Office. They previously worked as a Litigation Attorney at Hunton & Williams LLP and Adams Kleemeier Hagan Hannah & Fouts, and served as General Counsel and Director of Business Affairs at Litera Corp. Gauffreau worked in academia as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Duke University and has a distinguished military background, having served as a Military Intelligence Officer in the US Army and later as a Colonel in the JAG Corps of the United States Army Reserve. Gauffreau earned a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a BA in Political Science from Duke University.
