Marissa Magee

Marissa Magee is currently the Head of Programmes + Partnerships at Social Sync, where they help charities enhance their mass fundraising efforts through innovative technology. Previously, Marissa served as Fundraising Manager at Maggie's Centres, focusing on income generation and strategic partnerships within a multidisciplinary team. They have extensive experience in science engagement, having managed the ScienceFest at the International Centre for Life, and held various roles at Cancer Research UK, including Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager. Marissa's career began in marketing with positions at NewcastleGateshead Initiative and One NorthEast, where they contributed to international tourism campaigns. They received a degree in Marketing Management from Newcastle Business School at Northumbria University.
