John Mikelich

John Mikelich has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. John started their career at LanziVision in 2008 as a Software Engineer, where they designed and built multiple applications for both iOS and Android platforms. John also played a key role in designing gaming engines using OpenGL ES1 and ES2. Mikelich worked at LanziVision until 2015.

In 2015, Mikelich joined TrackR as a Sr. Software Engineer. John served as the iOS platform lead for 300,000 active users and was responsible for ensuring tasks were completed efficiently. Additionally, they created and managed a top Alexa skill called 'Find My Phone'. John worked at TrackR until 2018.

Mikelich's most recent position was at Socialive, where they started in 2018 as an Engineering Manager, Mobile. John managed a team of mobile engineers and QA, overseeing the support of existing products, development of new features, and planning future initiatives. John also contributed to the creation of iOS and Android applications in their respective native environments/languages. In 2020, they became the Director of Engineering at Socialive, forming and managing a vertical team of 10+ members responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving software end to end.

John Mikelich attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a double Bachelor's degree. John studied Computer Science and Physics during their time at the university.
