Prashant Singh

Prashant Singh is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in high-speed data communications and ASIC development. Currently serving as Lead Project Engineer at Socionext US since June 2020, Prashant specializes in architecting high-speed serial data communication ASICs, particularly focusing on ADC-DSP SerDes for 106. Prior to this role, Prashant held positions at Renesas Electronics as Principal Systems/Applications Engineer, providing technical support for compound semiconductor products in high-speed data networks, and at Silvaco Inc as Senior Application Engineer, concentrating on advanced EDA products. Previous experience also includes senior roles at Invecas, QLogic, LSI Logic, and AppliedMicro, contributing to ASIC IP development, design engineering, and test development. Prashant founded T-Networks, a VC-funded optoelectronics company, and has a strong educational background with a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BSc in Physics/EE from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
