Len Ott

Len Ott has a rich work history spanning several decades. Len started their career as the VP of Engineering at CompuPro Computers, formerly Godbout Electronics, in 1983 and stayed with the company until 1992. Len then joined Vision Network Systems as a Senior Software Engineer from 1992 to 1994. In 1994, Ott became the Chief Technology Officer & Executive VP of Engineering at Socket Mobile, Inc. and also held the position of Director of Software Development and Senior Software Engineer at the same company. In 1998, they joined Bluetooth SIG as the Working Groups Chair and Member. Ott served as the Chair of the Board of Directors at SD Association from 2000 to 2010 and as a Board Director and Technical Chair at COMPACTFLASH ASSOCIATION from 2001 to 2007. Their most recent role was as a Member of the Board of Directors at Sevillano from 2012 to 2019.

Len Ott attended Monta Vista High School from 1973 to 1977. After completing high school, they enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied Computer Science and obtained a Bachelor's degree in the field in 1981.
