Philipp Burckhardt

Philipp Burckhardt currently holds the position of Lead Data Scientist at Socket, specializing in data science and applied artificial intelligence for securing software supply chains since September 2023. Alongside this role, Philipp serves as Affiliate Faculty at Carnegie Mellon University, contributing to the development of the Integrated Statistics Learning Environment and holding the title of Director of E-Learning, Analytics, and Technology in the Department of Statistics & Data Science. Philipp's previous experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Software Engineer at stdlib, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for various courses at Carnegie Mellon University. Philipp's educational background comprises a Ph.D. and an MS in Statistics & Data Science, an MS in Public Policy & Management from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master's degree in Applied Statistics from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
